🚀 Step 1: Install the Extension

  1. Go to the Chrome Web Store page.
  2. Click Add to Chrome.
  3. Confirm by selecting Add extension.



You’ll see a message confirming the extension was added to Chrome.



📌 Step 2: Pin the Extension

  1. Click on the Extensions icon (puzzle piece) in your browser toolbar.
  2. Find Geolocation Spoofing and click the Pin icon to keep it visible.




🕵️ Step 3: Allow the Extension in Incognito Mode

  1. Right-click the Geolocation Spoofing extension icon.
  2. Select Manage extension.





  1. Scroll down and toggle Allow in Incognito to ON.





👉 Why enable Incognito?

Using the extension in Incognito ensures you get the most accurate results.

Regular browsing is influenced by your cache, history, past searches, and personalization, which can skew location-based results.

In Incognito, you see Google Search and Maps results as if you were a new, local user.



🖱️ Step 4: Open the Extension

Click the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar. You’ll see the GEO Location for Maps & Search popup.



By default, it shows New York, NY as favorite location.



🌍 Step 5: Search for a Location

Type a city or place in the search box. Example: London.

Select your preferred location from the suggestions.




💾 Step 6: Save Your Favorite Location

To save the location:

  1. Click the Save icon.
  2. Enter a name (e.g., “London, UK”).
  3. Click Save Location.




Now you can easily switch between saved locations like London and New York, or any other locations that you add and save.



✅ Step 7: Enable, Switch, or Enter Coordinates

  1. Toggle the Location Spoofing switch to enable spoofing.
  2. Status will change to Location spoofing enabled.
  3. To switch between saved locations (e.g., London and New York), just click the saved location name.
  4. You can also enter GPS coordinates manually comma separated (example 28.1192836,-16.7631017) if you want to spoof to an exact spot.
  5. Use the shortcut Cmd+Shift+L (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+L (Windows) to quickly enable/disable spoofing.



After enabling location spoofing, you can confirm it works in both Google Search and Google Maps.


  • In Google Search, you’ll see your spoofed location at the bottom of the results page.
  • In Google Maps, the map will center around your spoofed location.


For example, when spoofed to London, you’ll see:

🔢 Maps & SERP Result Numbering

  • Maps Result Numbering → Numbers the first 20 Google Maps search results. These results are shown in blue boxes for organic listings and orange boxes for sponsored ads.
  • SERP Results Numbering → Numbers Google Search results and ads. Normal organic results are displayed in blue boxes, while sponsored ads are highlighted with orange boxes.

🎯 Highlight Websites

You can highlight up to 3 websites in Google Search results.


  1. Right-click any result and select Highlight results from [domain].
  2. The site will be added to the Highlighted Websites list in settings.
  3. Each highlighted website gets its own color for easier tracking.
