GTrack Whitelabel & Branding Reports Tutorial

Google Maps Rank Tracker | Whitelabel & Branding Reports Tutorial

GTrack lets you deliver fully branded local SEO reports to your clients. Whether you’re an agency or a freelancer, you can remove GTrack branding and replace it with your own logo and company details — perfect for delivering white-labeled ranking reports.

⚠️ Note: Whitelabel and Branding features are only available on Business and Pro plans.

Follow the steps below to enable whitelabel reporting and customize your branding.

Step 1: Open Whitelabel & Branding Settings

  1. Click on your account name in the top-left corner of the GTrack dashboard.
  2. A dropdown menu will appear.
  3. Under Application Settings, click on Whitelabel & Branding Reports.

This opens the section where you can customize report branding, such as your business logo, color scheme, and contact info.

Step 2: Enter Your Subdomain

  1. In the Whitelabel Configuration window, you’ll begin with the Domain Input step.
  2. Enter the subdomain where you want your branded reports to be hosted.

Example: myreports.yourcompany.com

  1. Only subdomains are allowed (minimum 3 parts required).

Once you've entered the subdomain, click the Next: Verify CNAME button to proceed.

Step 3: Set Up CNAME Record

After submitting your subdomain, GTrack will move you to the CNAME Setup step.

You’ll now need to point your custom subdomain to GTrack’s reporting server by adding a CNAME record in your DNS settings.

📌 Example Configuration

Once added, DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate (usually 1 to 3 hours).

You can return to this page and click Check Status to re-verify once your DNS provider has applied the changes.

🚫 If the record is missing, you’ll see a red warning:
"No CNAME record found. Please add CNAME record pointing to gtrack-reports.wiremo.co"

🛠️ How to Add the CNAME Record

To complete the CNAME setup, follow the steps below inside your DNS provider dashboard (such as GoDaddy, Cloudflare, or Namecheap):

  1. Log in to your DNS provider account.
  2. Navigate to the DNS settings for your domain.
  3. Create a new CNAME record:

Once added, return to the GTrack interface and click Check Status to validate the setup.

⚠️ It may take up to 24 hours for DNS changes to propagate globally. If the system still shows a warning, check that your record matches the values above exactly.

🔧 Step-by-Step: DNS Setup in GoDaddy

In this example, we’ll walk through the full DNS configuration process using GoDaddy.

Step 4: Go to Your Domain Settings

  1. Log in to your GoDaddy dashboard.
  2. From the left menu, select Domain.
  3. Choose the domain you want to configure.

Step 5: Open the DNS Tab

  1. Click on the DNS tab inside your domain panel.
  2. This is where you’ll manage DNS Records, Forwarding, Nameservers, and more.

Step 6: Add a New DNS Record

  1. Under DNS Records, click Add New Record.
  2. This will open the form to create a new CNAME or TXT entry.

Step 7: Create the CNAME Record

Fill out the fields like this:

Click Save when done.

Step 8: Confirm Your CNAME Record is Listed

After saving, scroll down to verify your new CNAME appears in the list.

Make sure:

Step 9: Return to GTrack and Verify CNAME

After you’ve saved your CNAME record in GoDaddy:

  1. Wait 5–10 minutes for DNS to update.
  2. Return to the GTrack dashboard.
  3. Click the Verify CNAME button in the Whitelabel Configuration window.

If the record was added correctly, you’ll move forward to the SSL setup step.

If not, double-check:

🔁 It may take longer in some cases — allow up to 24 hours for DNS to fully propagate.

Step 10: CNAME Verified – Proceed to SSL Setup

Once your CNAME record is successfully verified, GTrack will automatically move you to the SSL Setup stage.

You’ll see a message: ✅ SSL setup initiated successfully!

At this point, you need to complete SSL Certificate Validation by adding a TXT record to your DNS.

Step 11: 🔐 SSL Certificate Setup

Required TXT Record

  • Type: TXT
  • Name: _acme-challenge.myreports.s*****n.com
  • Value: 1JdU1YB3kWs31M0s5aZiXp07oAGcUMRTQRXRbdk38Y
  • TTL: 1/2 Hour

Steps to Add the TXT Record

  1. Log in to your DNS provider (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, etc.).
  2. Go to the DNS settings for your domain.
  3. Add a new TXT record using the values above.
  4. Click Save after entering the values.
  5. Wait 5–10 minutes, then return to GTrack and click "Check SSL Status" below the TXT instructions.

💡 This TXT record validates your domain for SSL and enables secure HTTPS access for white-labeled reports.

Step 12: Return to GTrack & Verify

Once both CNAME and TXT records are added:

  1. Go back to the Whitelabel Configuration screen in GTrack.
  2. Click Check SSL Status.
  3. Once verified, your custom domain will be secured with HTTPS and fully branded.

⏱️ Note: DNS propagation can take up to 24 hours. If the verification fails, double-check your entries and try again later.

Step 13: Setup Complete – Domain Is Now Active!

🎉 Congratulations! Your whitelabel setup is now complete.

GTrack has verified your CNAME and SSL records, and your custom domain is ready to use.

🌐 Domain Active

Your white-labeled reports are now publicly accessible

You’ll see the final status as: ✅ Active – Your domain is ready to use

ℹ️ Important: It may take up to 5 minutes for your report URLs to be fully accessible due to caching. If you see a message like this, don’t worry — GTrack will keep trying automatically every 5 minutes, or you can click Try Again Now.

Step 14: Customize Branding for Your Whitelabel Reports

Once your domain is active, head over to the Branding tab in the Whitelabel Configuration screen to customize the look and feel of your reports.

This is where you add your company’s branding so all shared reports reflect your business identity.

🛠️ What You Can Customize

  • Company Name – Displayed on all shared reports.
  • Logo URL – Link to your logo (supports external image URLs).
  • Email
  • Phone Number
  • Website URL

You’ll see a live logo preview below the form to help visualize how your branding will appear on reports.

Once everything is filled in, click Save Branding.

✅ You’ll see a green success message:
Branding updated successfully!

🔗 Step 15: All Shared URLs Are Now Whitelabeled

Once your custom domain and branding are configured, GTrack will automatically switch all shared scan URLs to your whitelabel domain.

✅ What This Means

  • Every time you share a scan (Scheduled or Single), the link will now use your custom domain.
  • This gives your reports a fully branded, professional appearance — no more gtrack-reports links.

Step 16: How Your Branding Appears on Shared Reports

Once your whitelabel domain and branding are fully configured, every shared report will display your agency’s brand at the top — just like in this example.

What’s shown on the report:

  • Your Company Logo
  • Business Name (e.g., SEO Agency LLC)
  • Contact Email
  • Phone Number
  • Website Link

This ensures a fully professional, client-facing presentation of your local SEO scan results.

💡 All these details are customizable in the Branding tab under Whitelabel Configuration.
