GTrack Generate Rankings Report from Scheduled Scans Tutorial

Google Maps Rank Tracker | Generate Rankings Report from Scheduled Scans

Use the Generate Rankings Report feature to view and analyze the performance of your scheduled scans over time. Whether you're tracking one business or multiple, this report gives you a clear snapshot of how your keywords are performing across locations - in one organized dashboard.

⚠️ Note: Scheduled Scans are available on the Free Plan - you can track up to 3 keywords per scan. Upgrade to a Paid Plan to unlock more keywords, higher frequency options, and full ranking history reports.

Step 1: Go to Scheduled Scans

  1. In the sidebar, click on Scheduled Scans.
  2. You can:
  • Select one or more scheduled scans manually using the checkboxes next to each scan.
  • Or use the "Select All" checkbox at the top right to include all scheduled scans at once.
  1. Once you've made your selection, click the Generate Rankings Report button at the top of the screen.

This allows you to create a consolidated report for one or multiple businesses, depending on your tracking needs.

Step 2: View the Scheduled Rankings Report

After generating the report, you’ll be redirected to the Scheduled Rankings Report view.

This is a powerful dashboard that gives you:

  • A summary of keyword performance for each scheduled scan.
  • The ability to quickly scan through ranking trends and fluctuations.
  • Insight into which keywords are improving and which are declining.

Each row in the report includes:

  • Keyword — The exact phrase you're tracking.
  • Business — The name of the business associated with the scan.
  • Current Average Ranking — The overall average rank of your business for that keyword across the grid.
  • Change Over Time — Indicates improvement or decline (with arrows or +/- values).
  • Scan Date — When the ranking data was last captured.

You can use the tabs at the top to filter the timeframe:

  • Last 7 days – See short-term progress or drops.
  • Last 28 days – A good mid-term SEO tracking view.
  • Last 3 months – Measure seasonal SEO changes.
  • Custom Range – Choose any start and end date to match your campaigns.
  • All Time – View long-term SEO performance trends.

This level of filtering makes the report ideal for agencies, marketers, or business owners who want to measure growth over a specific campaign window or track ongoing SEO efforts.

Step 3: Export Your Report

Need to present your data in a meeting or send it to your client?

Click the Export CSV button at the top-right of the report to download the full keyword ranking data.

The exported file includes:

  • Keywords
  • Businesses
  • Average rankings
  • Ranking change logs
  • Scan dates

You can open the report in tools like Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or your favorite spreadsheet software.

From there, you can:

  • Create charts and graphs
  • Compare trends between multiple businesses
  • Highlight keywords that need optimization
  • Share progress updates with clients or team members

📌 Exported data is especially helpful for monthly SEO reporting and internal marketing reviews.
