Use the Google Maps Rank Tracker to track how your business ranks for specific keywords across a geographic grid.

Step 1: Log in to your account

GTrack’s Scan Analysis gives you a powerful visual and data-rich overview of how your business is performing on Google Maps — and how you stack up against local competitors.

Whether you're viewing results from a single scan (My Scans) or a Scheduled Scan, the layout and insights are the same.

Step 1: Open Single Scan Analysis

For manual scans: Go to My Scans, then click on your Business name or the View Details button.

➡️ Click “View Details” on the right side for each scan to open the results and see how your business ranks for that specific keyword across the selected grid. Check the results one by one to understand your visibility for every keyword.

Step 2: Analyze Your Results

Map View Tab

In the Map View tab, you can explore how your business ranks across the selected grid.
Each pin shows your ranking position for the chosen keyword.

Green numbers mean strong rankings (top positions).
Orange numbers show weaker visibility further from your location.
Clicking on any pin will open the detailed results for that exact spot.

Use the Scheduled Scans feature to automatically track your business rankings daily, weekly, or monthly, eliminating the need for manual setup each time.

Step 1: Go to Scheduled Scans

In your dashboard sidebar, click on Scheduled Scans.
Then click the + New Schedule button at the top to create a new one.

Step 2: Create a Scheduled Scan

Now it’s time to configure your Scheduled Scan.

Start by searching for your business name in the field at the top and selecting it from the results. (Service Area Businesses (SABs) are also supported. GTrack can find and track businesses that don’t display a public address on Google Maps.)
Next: switch between Kilometers or Miles depending on your preference.
Choose your grid size and distance unit. For example: select 9×9 grid and 1 km distance between pins.
Select the scan type you want to run:

Use the Generate Rankings Report feature to view and analyze the performance of your scheduled scans over time. Whether you're tracking one business or multiple, this report gives you a clear snapshot of how your keywords are performing across locations - in one organized dashboard.

Step 1: Go to Scheduled Scans

In the sidebar, click on Scheduled Scans.
You can:

Select one or more scheduled scans manually using the checkboxes next to each scan.
Or use the "Select All" checkbox at the top right to include all scheduled scans at once.

Once you've made your selection, click the Generate Rankings Report button at the top of the screen.

This allows you to create a consolidated report for one or multiple businesses, depending on your tracking needs.

Step 2: View the Scheduled Rankings Report

After generating the report, you’ll be redirected to the Scheduled Rankings Report view.
