How to Manage Workspaces in GLocal

Create, manage, and organize your businesses using Workspaces in GLocal.

Group businesses by client or project, assign team members, and control access from one place.

1. Open Manage Workspaces

To access Workspaces:

  1. Click on your account name (top right corner)
  2. Select Manage Workspaces from the dropdown menu

Once opened, the left sidebar menu will appear, where you can navigate between sections.

This page shows:

  • All your created workspaces
  • Number of businesses inside each workspace
  • Number of team members assigned

If no workspaces are created yet, the page will appear empty until you add your first Workspace.

2. Create Your First Workspace

To get started:

  1. Click the + Create Workspace button (top right)

  1. Enter a workspace name: You can name your workspace based on the business location, client name, or in any way that helps you organize your businesses more easily.
  2. Click Create Workspace

Your workspace will now appear in the list and can be used to organize your businesses.

3. Understand Workspace Usage

At the top of the page, you will see your usage:

Using 4 of 10 workspaces

This shows how many workspaces you are currently using out of your plan limit.

Workspace & Team Limits by Plan

Each GLocal plan includes a different number of workspaces and user seats:

  • Starter Plan – 1 workspace (included by default, cannot add more) • 1 user seat (owner only, no teammates)
  • Professional Plan – 3 workspaces • 3 user seats
  • Business Plan – 5 workspaces • 5 user seats
  • Agency Plan – 10 workspaces • 10 user seats

If you reach your workspace limit, you will need to upgrade your plan to create more workspaces or manage additional teammates.

4. Manage Existing Workspaces

Click on a Workspace to view its businesses.

Inside the workspace, you will see all assigned businesses with their name, address, and contact details.

You can manage them using the Actions column: Unassign a business or add new ones by clicking  + Assign Google Business Profile.

Each workspace card includes several actions:

  • 👥 Manage Members – Add or manage team access (First, you need to add teammates. Then you can assign them to a workspace.)

ℹ️ Only team members can be assigned to workspaces. Admins have access to all workspaces by default.

  • ✏️ Edit – Rename the workspace

  • 🗑️ Delete – Remove the workspace

5. Assign Google Business Profiles

To add businesses to a workspace:

  1. Click + Assign Google Business Profile
  2. In the popup, you will see all your connected Google Business Profiles
  3. Click Assign next to the businesses you want to add

What You Will See

  • Assign button – The business is not yet assigned to this workspace
  • Assigned label – The business is already added to this workspace

The selected businesses will now appear inside the workspace.

6. Remove a Business from Workspace

To unassign a business:

  1. Find the business in the list
  2. Click Unassign in the Actions column

This removes it from the workspace but does not delete it from GLocal.

Why Use Workspaces

Workspaces help you:

  • Organize businesses by client, location, or project
  • Separate access for teams or clients
  • Manage multiple businesses more easily

You're All Set

You can now create, organize, and manage your businesses using workspaces in GLocal.

Use workspaces to keep your account clean, structured, and easy to manage—especially when working with multiple clients or locations.
